Poor acceleration

when i kickdown the accelerator on my clk320 from about a speed of 20mph, there seems to be a lag of about 5 seconds before the car starts to accelerate quickly....
so during those 5 seconds, the car is very slow and then suddenly it jump

i think 5 seconds is too long....isnt it?

i tried to kickdown my bro's c320 and its very quick....no lag at all..the car just accelerate quickly when i step on the accelerator

does anyone else's 320 have this problem?

Well,

With mine, since the car actually "learns" your driving style, I often pushed it hard (after my 500 MI break-in peroid). Their is still a lag of maybe 1-2 seconds, but I expect that with an automatic and only 215 hp. 5 seconds (counting one, one thousand, two, one thousand, etc) seems pretty darn long. Is it really 5 entire seconds, or maybe 2-3?

maybe about 3-4 ...but i feel its too long

i raced my friend's civid at a stoplight....he was already ahead of me when i was still at the stop light trying to kick down

hmm maybe i should start driving more agressively

even my bro c-class is much2 better...there is no lag
