How pissed would you be if you bought a 06 CLK55 new and then the 07 CLK550 comes out
I have been thinking about that latley...
Mostly becuase I will be in the market for a new car soon and I am considering a CLK550.

I would not be pissed at all, this debate has been brought up with the hard top versions. If it was a coupe I would prefer the amg but if its a convertible I would rather the newer car with the updated exterior and a little bit left on the warranty with the option to extend before it expires. If you got the funds hold off and get a 63, the ultamate soft top sleeper!

Moedy, I appreciate you bringing up those pictures of me in the Dyno probation thread without the context of what was going on in the older thread . When i was told everyone was "big guy on the internet". I simply said what my physical statistics were, when it was implied i was a liar, I put up proof. I will admit it was funny how you phrased it, battle of the biggest homo, although i was not "oiled up" as suggested.

Back to the topic, you sure you want to upgrade to a 550 from a 500? You are going to regret it and wish you got the 63. 63 bumper looks way more aggressive, faster car, bigger brakes and a car thats as rare to find as the black series. There were less than 500 imported to the U.S. Put some headers and a tune on one and you will be in the low 12's in a luxury soft top convertible. Plus with convertibles you have more things to worry about going wrong so having the option to extend before the factory warranty expires is a good idea

I have 80,000 miles at the moment, thats why I haven't spent any more on mods for the CLK. I dont plan on getting rid of the car for about 12 months. The 63s BS are still really expensive. I could swing it but, I'd rather have the money in my bank account at the end of the day. A BS as a daily driver is a bit much. I have no interest in a Convert. unless I can get a hardtop which we can't. Who knows maybe in a year I take the wife's bimmer and get her in an ML550 we are 26 and are thinking about having a kiddo pretty soon.

before badblack posts, let me speak for him-the clk550 man! it smokes everything and is faster than 55! I walk m3's with mine before my gf takes care of my python! Its the ****! lol
