Exhaust tips

On the 2004 CLK500 with the single oval exhaust tip, what is required to swap this out for a dual tip? I am not a fan of the large oval. I assume this piece is welded on?

Where could I find a compatable dual tip? If it was an AMG part I wouldnt complain.

Im looking to do the same thing...I think that you would probably have a muffler shop cut the piece coming out of the muffler that the tip is welded on and you probably need a y pipe made splitting from a single pipe to mount the dual tips. I've seen some photo of this on here
