Highly recommended.

The track is not overly big (probably because they don't want people reaching ridiculously high speeds for safety reasons) but you can certainly get an idea of accelleration, braking and handling ability.

It may also be an idea to mention that you are familiar with AMG's and they will probably let you enjoy the car more.
Maybe even tell them that you are considering buying one and want an idea of what they are capable of.

I told the guy that I already had a 63 and that I was very familiar with the paddles and the cars capabilities. He let me pretty much get on with it.

It was also handy that he was around my age, so we were kinda on the same level with eachother.

Depends on who you get on the day though.

Mate, you should see them when they come back in after being on the track... brakes all hot and bothered, engine fan on, tyres beaten.... awesome.

It was also good for me to see how much of a beating these 63's can take.

Again and again they would go out... ripped round a track, brakes punished again and again. One grinning customer after another.

But obviously they are also regularly serviced there.

By the way, if you want to drive an AMG at Benz World, you'll need to book you drive.

So it's probably a good idea to contact them as soon as you arrive in the UK, if not before, if you know the dates you'll be there.

I believe that they still have the F1 Exibition on display so you should be able to see it in person!

Are you guys going to book an AMG drive for when you are there?

Actually, my cat tried jumping on my car once and she slid straight off!
It was one of the funniest things I ever saw! LOL!

BenzWorld will be open on sunday 12th. It's open 7 days a week.
400hp... yes, the least you'll get is 451hp, in the form of a C63.
They have C's E's and SL's to drive.

It may be luck of the draw which one you get but you can try and specify which model you wish to drive.

I think they are now doing SLS driving experiences too!

Rash, I've got my flights booked for my trip. I'm leaving the UAE and heading to London on the 8th and transfering to Denmark the same day, then I'm going to take the train to Seden and have dinner with Mikey, then heading back to Denmark. On the 11th I'm leaving Denmark and heading back to London (I think Mike is trying to book the same flight as I'm on), landing at 20:55, I've got myself booked in at the Hilton Heathrow. I leave to head back to the UAE on the morning of the 14th, I decided to stay an extra day and just chill in London.

PS: Working on some hook up's at the museum, might know someone who works there.

Heathrow is about 13.1 miles/ 22 minutes away from Brooklands.

We should find out what time it opens and see if we can pre-book a few cars for the track. I'll aslo have to take a look at the location so we can figure out how to get there on the tube. Man I need this quick trip out of the Middle East, the museum, track and MBWord mates are all bonuses!

We'll have to find a great spot for the night of the 12th as well
