Fu*k.
Kev have you read about the ash cloud rising from the volcano in Iceland. It's most likely be hitting Swedens airspace tomorrow and could possibly stop all air traffic in europe the coming weeks.

How often do I wax my car?....... lol.... are you sure you really want the answer to that??
I have owned my 63 for 2 years now.
I have waxed it around 61 times.
OCD??? LOL!!!!
I was averaging around 3 times per week at one stage. lol
If the weather was bad, or if it is winter and I can't get the car out, then I'd be like "hell, might as well head out to the garage and slap another coat of wax on!" lol!
They say that you only really need to wax a car once or twice a week, but that advice is really for your random civilian.
I use a layering wax so I apply wax to also build up a deep shine.
I always apply wax by hand.
I'm sure it can be done very effectively with a machine, but I have no experience with using machines and do not want to risk burning the paint.
Machines are also more likely to create swirls, but again, I'm sure it can be done properly if you know what you are doing.
It takes me around 2.5 hrs to wax the car... which means that I have spent around 6.5 solid days applying wax alone! LOL!!
OCD??? LOL!!
Washing your car with water and soap will remove wax.
Not all of it, but it will remove some of it.
So if you wax your car now and again, but wash your car regularly, then you will remove your wax.
(Which is one reason I like to clean my car without water or soap)
Good waxes will put up a fight against washing but you will still remove some wax when you wash your car.
But don't get me wrong, you'll have to wash your car a good few times to remove all of the wax you apply.

I actually thought about this too when I heard about the volcano.
I'll be keeping an eye on it for you.
They reckon that a cloud of the ash will be hitting the UK by tonight.
Like before when the other volcano erupted, the 63 will be staying in it's home until the air cleans up.
I don't care how harmless people say it is, but I'm not having the 63 sucking up all that crap into the engine.
Yes, yes, the car has filters, but I'm not chancing some of the glassy ash particles getting through my K&N's and scoring my cylinders.

Oh Oh... I forgot to apply for authorisation from my 63's guardian, "Mikata The Mighty"!
LOL!!!
Yeah, I've had K&N's pretty much from the begining.
Instead of cleaning and re-oiling them and risk causing MAF problems, I am just going to buy new ones when I feel they are too dirty.
