When do you guys expect delivery of your '04 CLKs?
Originally, I was told by my dealer, that I'll have my '03 CLK500 somewhere in June (placed an order 4/1/03). Now he's saying, that I will get '04 in July. Sounds good to me.
However, I heard from another dealership, that they will start delivering '04 CLKs in October or November.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry for stupid question, but how can I verify, that my car is really '04?

That sounds about right, the first '04s at my dealership are getting June (first decade) build dates and delivery around late July or early August. To verify, I think you would probably have to see the dealer's car inventory sheet. On the far left column, it should say either 03 or 04, make sure your name is in that slot . 
As for the other dealer, maybe they just aren't getting the early production ones??? Could be a number of reasons.

Is there any way to easily figure out what model year the car is, simply by looking at it?
Is 04's CLK getting any new gadgets?

As for any new gadgets, I'm pretty sure its going to be same as an '03. Someone correct if I am wrong. The easiest way to tell would probably be looking at the sticker. It would say '03 or '04, other than that I don't know.

Just ordered an '04 CLK 320 from a dealer in Phoenix.
Sales rep said their 2004 ordering guide showed the CLK to have the following as options:
1. Ventilated seats (not just heated)
2. CLK 320 Appearance Package available with Burl Walnut trim (in addition to the previously availalbe aluminum)
3. Sirius satellite radio?
Numbers 1-2 though, I found out today, are on delay. Will keep you posted. Has anyone heard more about the universal phone interface (UHI) that MB talked about in a press release last March to be available in June?
Has anyone heard of other new options for the 2004?

I went with my sister to buy a 320 for her. I talked her into waiting for the 04, but the dealer did'nt have any prices yet !!!
Anyone heard about prices ?
are they staying the same or they r going up ?
Also, what are your obligation's when you order a car from the dealer ? I mean what if you change your mind before the car gets in ?
and the most important question, any chance of negotiation on the price ? did anyone try and got something knocked-off ?
I spoke to ray catena in NJ and they said they can get my car in July/Aug, MB of Manhatten said they can get it in July.
