Son of a ***** i got a problem
So, late last night after a full day of driving around aimlessly I parked in my garage. 3hours later I decided I decided I was hungry so I went to start my car and my CEL came on. This morning I went and got the code read, and it said P0305- Cylinder 5 misfire, now I'm pissed... I just went to Napa near my house and had to order a new spark plug(apparently nobody carries ones for MB).. So now I'm sitting at dunkin waiting for them to come in. Has anybody else had this problem, I really hope changing the spark plug will fix it

It could be a spark plug, it could be a coil pack.

hopefully it'll just be the spark plug and nothing else.

Move the coil to another cylinder to see if the misfire moves.

i cleared the code and nothing seems to be wrong i drove around for about 15miles, the car seems to be working fine

CEL just came back on, and it read cylinder 6 so the problem is the coil pack. I just ordered it, it should be here in 2days!

Glad to hear it got resolved. I chased that multiple misfire P300 gremlin in the ML430. Even after replacing plugs and coils it would just randomly reappear.
