gas prices are going through the ROOF in LA. It's almost $4.30 average for premium...I've even seen prices high as $4.60 in some gas stations.
my lead foot + 10-12 mpg city/16-20mpg hwy doesn't really help either haha.
Its costing me almost $95 give or take a few bucks to fill up my 23 gallon tank! and it will take me anywhere from 240-280 miles per tank.

Here are some I took of the car when I was there last summer.
Car sits for almost a year and all I need is battery replacement and starts up fine everytime after that. Of course I give it a nice hard acceleration to clear out everything and runs like a champ. I wanted to bring it back to the US but too much legal stuff with customs and a lot of work to get it to comply with US specs. I am better off finding a Merkur over here, and modding it a little to bring it up to specs with my euro cosworth sierra.

I just recently came back from parts of canada and california. I feel your pain. Canada gets raped even by the border and both places get an extra raping with credit/debit cards. I cringed when I chose debit and it asked to approve the extra debit fee on my card in california. I know it sucks for the businesses when you pump $5 debit but $50+? Give me a break. These retards where I live don't realize how good they got it when they complain about a $5 debit minimum at a gas station

Looks great man, needs a little polish only. It is a true classic. Got any power mods done?

My record is $61/tank (CLK350 '08) so far. I also, just filled up before I came back home - gas is $4.39 (Shell on Miramar, San Diego, CA)! Suddenly, I am happy that I am driving V8 and not V8... even though, I'd prefer one

Thanks, I haven't waxed it for a few years. Only thing done is exhaust, I would love to mod it more but I only get to drive it 1-2 months out of the year that I am over there and then sits until I go back for vacation.

Euro Cars Only
What I do know is that V Power differs from country to country.
In Ireland its 95RON
In France its 98, 100 on most highway stations
In Switzerland we get the best, VPower 100 everywhere.
