Well I painted the calipers...

I realize I don't have the calipers of choice, but thought I would go from silver to red. I don't know.

One pic is the rears with the camber kit installed. It really made a difference.

They look much better than stock. I could tell the shine when the sun hits them. What did you use to paint them?

Good job, everything came out very nice!
Questions:
What method did you use to paint the calipers (Spray Paint or Brush on)?
How much did your mechanic charge for the Camber Kit install?

+1 on the decals. Carlos, I believe he installed the camber kit himself.

I did the brush on. Used the Dupli Color kit. I bought some small difference sized brushes at the Hobby Lobby due to the fact the brush in the kit was horrible. I did mask off and spray the rotors Silver real good again.

And Wes is right, I installed the camber kit myself. 2 1/2 hour project.

I'm assuming that they are acceptable in red since no one has flamed on yet? Will stickers fit on the calipers I have?

You're right, I don't think the decals will fit. I don't see a reason for flame, they don't look bad at all!

+1.

I can't tell from the pic but does it have any "brush strokes" embedded in the paint or did it set smooth? In other words, if you had to do it again, would you use the same kit or use the spay paint method.

209 Tribe members,
I want to paint my calipers red as well, but leave the front facing bolts unpainted (or maybe use black paint). Do you think it will look good?
Sorry for the thread jack Mka77.

It goes on rather thick and a little brushy but flowed evenly out really nice. I think black bolts will look good with the red.

Thanks for the nod Euro. I was a little skeptical about doing it not having the "preferred calipers".
