moving all windows with the key
So is there any definitive information on getting this to work reliably? I have searched old topics and people hem and haw around the issue.
I have seen it work on my car with both eyes, so I know its possible... but it doesnt seem to work reliabily. I have "reset" the windows by rolling them down and then rolling them up and holding for a few seconds.
Any advice?

LOL, mine doesn't work that well either... I get stuck at the parking lot and having people look at me weirdly as I constantly press and hold the Lock button to roll up the window.

Hi ,everybody,
I am a newbe I have a W209 270 cdi.
I have the same problem can't open the windows with the key, it is due to the sensor.
I can't open the locked door using the handle having the key in the pocket as I can on the right side door.
So I am in the way to remove the door panel and check the conectors, before thinking of buying a new sensor unit.
Does nayone did that job ?

Try fresher batteries. Lock/unlock from 50 ft.+ is RF, which takes less battery juice. The IR function takes fresh batteries and close contact.
