when upgrading to a 4pot...

can i use the same brake lines?

i know people are upgrading to stainless steel, but i dont drive hard enough to really use em.

im planning to get new rotors and do a swap as soon as i can get the funds for it so im making sure ahead of time that i wont need new brake lines and end up waiting longer -__-

You don't have to, but since you're already upgrading your calipers and rotors, another $100 won't kill you.

Getting amg calipers?
SS brake lines aren't necessary unless you use the car for the track and even then there's only a slight difference to stock.

lol mine are just the 4 pots from c32. im leaving the rears the same. painting them red.

gotta get them rotors soon tho. lol 280 -__- is the cheapest i could find for decent front rotors. i was gonna order from parts.com but i think they are 90 each although they dont state individual or not.

does anyone know if its for the pair or separate.

Mikey, the parking brake is more than enough to bring that 320 beast to a stop 8 & 6? Damn son, you're gonna stop that car so fast the paint is going to rip off and go another 100ft!

Hahaha parking brake its all about the visual details. Chicks dig big calipers, lol joking aside I hardly even use my stock brakes but I love the big silver amg brakes.

Parts.com lists rotors individually.

yup just finally got a call back from them. priced for 1 rotor. looks like ima save up for r1 concepts premium. although they do have e-line (im guessing discontinued) for the c32 amg rotor.

do you guys using r1concepts know the difference between eline and premium?

You will when they start to rust at the hub and vents. I have to repaint my rotor every year. But where I live snow means salt on the roads for months that just f-ups everything.

i dont have to really worry cuz im on the west coast. salt would probably only come if im driving on the coast line but that hardly happens.

I did a whole lot of digging before buying my new brake package and it appears that what you mentioned is the best set-up for our car with the correct sized/type of rotors. Way more stopping power than you'd ever (hopefully) need on both the street and the track.

Yup, 6/4 pot is an easier upgrade than 8/6. I believe klinh has 6/4 pot, and his install was practically straight swap if I don't qoute him wrong.
