I know! Lets make our ____________ so special that a separate computer will be needed to operate it! Sure it will be a little complex. And sure heat and vibration will be its enemy. But think of all those out of warranty repairs our dealers will get to do. Cha-CHING!

Man, it will be just like selling razors but better. In our case the razor cost a ton too, but they'll need to keep coming back and dumping huge piles of money on us every little bit. Oh, Oh, Oh and I know.... the capper is we can make sure that only our dealers have the machine that can tell you which gizmo is busted. That way all the other shops will just have to guess and keep replacing stuff until they guess right. That will make them even MORE expensive than us and it will make them look incompetent to boot. Geez, we are GENIUSES. Now where did I put my lederhosen?

But I still love my car.

So you enjoy having your gentleman's area shaved with a belt-sander?
