DTM Steering Wheel
Well, what a weekend. First of all I'm home for both days for a change, got a bunch of shopping done, got the plasma hung up in the bedroom, wiring the surround speakers tonight, got a ton of electrical done in the yard and with the cooler weather today (104* F) I got this installed;
I've got the OEM wheel next to me, going to start working on the paddle retrofit tonight

Thanks. I ordered it through Steeringwheel Land on eBay. I swear I contacted a dozen or more companies and none of them wanted to do a custom wheel in the stone color. The wheel ended up taking something like 4 months but I'm just glad that someone took up the challenge to make it for me.
Nice change and feel over the stock wheel

Thanks pal, and thanks for the LED tail info via PM too - I'm heading outside to install them now As for the paddles, they will fit with some mods but I'm almost certain I'm not going to be able to get the circuts to work with the current setup. I've been metering them and playing around with a few things and I believe (not 100% sure yet though) that without adding a seperate powered binary bypass, they won't transmit the correct values. I'll have a full thread on it hopefully in the near future.

That's a Black Series steering wheel. Same as mine.
It's slightly different to the DTM steering wheel - and much nicer in my opinion too!!!
The DTM wheel is not as nice.
Well done for finding someone to cover it in your interior colour!
Looks great!

Actually, I stand corrected...
It is slightly different to mine.
The contours are very slightly different, but the overall shape is the same I think

Thanks bro, yeah, the color match is absolutely spot on, Dee at SWL did an awesome job. The grip feels so much better, it'll be a big difference carving through the track now. And absolutely Wes, like everything else so far - it WAS worth the wait!

Thanks guys. I've actually got the airbag off again testing a theory of mine... I was going to call it a night but I would have been up all night wondering about this idea, so, I should know in about 20 minutes.

I hope it's how to connect the paddles to work By the way Kev, did your other steering wheel have the small paddles behind the steering wheel?
