I got jacked!
Some a-hole stole my MB logo from my trunk! In doing so he left a big scratch and only managed to take the circle part of the logo. Anyone know the part # of a CLK550 rear star?
Also, how can i take out the middle part without damaging the car?

Judging by that scratch- you might as well just get it off of there however you can and not worry about scratching it more. You are probably going to have to get the lid re-sprayed. Sorry man

you can sue dental floss to take it off with. thread it behind the emblem and use a sawing motion. use adhesive remover to remove the film. you can order another off ebay for a quarter the price of a stealership. ive got parts from benz at triple the price than other vendors b4.

The badge is held in with prongs, not adhesive.
Sorry to hear that man. What a shame that people are so thoughtless.
You should be able to just pull it out. Check the parts sticky for the part number, only like $5 through parts.com.

EDIT: Just looked and it came out to $22 with shipping, i'm just gonna do to Flecture and have them install me a new one.

I just called the stealership, they quoted me $18. I figured it would be $90 so i'm not that mad. Do you know if the CLK500 and 550 have the same size emblem? They should right? (stealership told me they only had 55 and 500 in stock, they have to "ORDER" it)

The part number is 2097580058. All the w209s share the same emblem.
