Thanks everyone for the kind words and compliments.
The biggest difference for me going from the CLK to the CLS is the feeling of the interior. The CLK is designed to be very open, especially with the lack of a B-pillar, and the CLS is roomier on the inside, but the windows are extremely tiny. It's very bizarre because you'd think that a CLS would feel bigger and more of a "four door" than a CLK, but it sits much lower and the "small-window effect" makes you feel like you're in even more a sports car.
Obviously, the 63 engine is absolutely amazing, but it's actually the LSD and adaptive suspension that is the real performance difference from the CLK550. The CLK had plenty of power, but it was never really able to put it to the ground around turns. The CLS is heavy and hugs the ground even around the sharpest of turns.
The CLS is sitting in the garage, fully detailed. I did a complete swirl/scratch removal and wax application, haven't driven it yet since I accidentally broke a coolant hose while swapping in new bulbs (tight driver's side), $65 hose from the dealer, FML.

Nice replacement! The CLS is one of very few amount of cars that's actually a styling upgrade from the CLK coupe. Nice choice. The 6.2L is a nice upgrade from the 5.5L too. Congrats!

W209, E46 M3 (dead), S54 swapped E46 Touring
same as kevblah. still have the CLK though. my fun only lasted me a short while with the E46 though. a girl on her phone slammed into me and totalled the car. fun swap coming soon most likely.
