I mean like the top piece is suppose to belong with the hood. but if you dont have it, it would just look weird haha and when ppl do C55 to CLK grill conversion for the w203 they have to buy a whole new hood latch too haha.

Thanks for all the comments guys... As for the cost??? Got the OEM bumper cover alone was around $800 off ebay then bought the rest of the parts from parts.com. You can imagine how everything quickly got $$$ Anyway, was still missing a few clips here and there, but HMS was able to figure out the right parts and what not.
As for the grill, it is 2-pieces. The bottom part fits on normally, but for the top, you have to cut out a piece so your hood latch has clearance. Then you it was also attached using double sided tape and two short screws to attach to the hood. I initially was going to go with the Brabus style 3-slat CF grill, but it really isn't my style. Didn't feel like having just 1 CF piece or having it painted 1 solid color. I think the C55 grill is just clean, and I got it for a good price from a forum member ($140 shipped), so I'm happy with it.
@Mikata I like my Carlsson 1/6... lol... to each his own. Was thinking of getting some Monarch Euro 63RS down the line... but I'll figure that out once I get back from deployment next year. Actually ran over a nail and my tire freaking exploded when I was driving back from Vegas on Tuesday, so I'm running my stockies right now. Contemplateing what to do with 'em though.
@lowpost Me too! I was going to get them shaved completely, but since I have to take it back, I'm just going to get them painted.
