Side Marker Bumper Lights

I purchased some Side Marker Bumper Lights with T10 wedge Super White 1-SMD Led bulbs.

The lights work fine, but every once in while I get in the car and the dash is displaying side markers right not working and side marker left not working when in fact they are.

Is it the LED voltage cause that or something ? When I turn the car off and on again the message goes away but comes back a few days later.

Thanks

Louie

Yup you need lights with built in resistors.

Or you can wire in some resistors and not worry about having to replace them with the resistor built-in bulbs everytime one goes out. That's what I did with my license plate lights.
