2003 CLK 320
had a run in with a wrx last night/ this morning.

off the line, he won.
straight line, i think he had me in the first two gears or so.
corners, maybe it was me, but i was able to catch up to him with a faster entry speed and my tires are balding -__-

we werent going super fast but just some fun. turns out the driving is a friend of a friend. lol

but do you guys think the CLK is able to take on a wrx?
last time i talked to him, he had added some mods to slow him down. i think he just added the sti turbo and no tune. doesnt that mean his turbo can handle more boost yet he hasnt tuned the engine for it? lol also more lag?

i dont wanna lose to this guy next time haha time for the c32 swap

EDIT: but of course keeping it safe at the same time. no running street signs, or reds. no blind cornering. pretty much did this stuff in a secluded area. and speeds probably reached 35 or 40. lol no joke like i said not super fast loll

once I was having fun with my friend in his 01 bmw 330ci and he had by a car length (but I had a problem with my car the brakes pads were rubbing against the rotors ,it was like some one is stepping on the throttle and the brakes at the same time ..stupid mechanic )

A WRX will absolutely spank a CLK320 raw. The tune shop I used to run in Canada specialized in them, they are very potent little cars. In fact, I'm positive in stock form it would take a 500 in a 1/4 mile race - they have great traction and a very strong top end. That said, the EVO 10 makes them look slow...

Very nice! I also am a fan of the EVO 10, fun little AWD car although I'd much rather have a R34 GTR though...
