Depends on the wheel style, my ET35 wheels did not clear my OEM brakes without a spacer, rears were no problem.

Ah!!!! Brabus Monoblocks. I've seen 1 with a 35 and one with a 40. I hate spacers...i've had bad experience with them (even H&R hubcentric ones).

Well, I imagine you have the same brakes on your 550 as I had on my 500 (before my BBK conversion) so I certainly don't think the ET40's would clear. You can always call them and ask, but then again, when I called the retailer for my wheels they said they would fit with no problems, they didn't fit and I've had a lot of problems.

As for the spacers, you and me both, I hate them, I'd much rather have wheels that work and fit on their own. Saying that, H&R do make a great product but it's still adding another item where I don't want one.

Let us know what you find out.

Called my shop and they said 32 is best. 35 works depending on options/brakes and etc. I didn't like the H&R spacers as they gave me a bad shake with my wheels..maybe it was my wheels but i rather do without spacers. I'll call brabus later this week to inquire.
