Look at your headlights. If the yellow turn signals look like "eyelids" with a horizontal divider between it and the actual main headlight looks like a big chrome dish behind the clear housing, then you have halogens



If the turn signal is a round reflective area and the main headlight looks like a clear magnifying lens or eyeball, you have bi-xenons HID's:

i live in Italy, i paid 100 Euro

 

If you can get it installed for around $100, I would just pay them to do it. The only reason I did it myself was for the learning experience.
