Conductor plate changed still stuck in first, now what?

06 CLK55 AMG 50,000 miles

I went through and changed the conductor plate today, reset the code and went off for a drive to check the function.

Same issue, code came back P0715 and it won't shift out of first. Also cannot change from Sport to Comfort or to teh Manual mode. When taking the conductor plate off, I noticed it looked fine... no cracks or other issues that would lead me to believe it was bad, but put the new one in anyway.

There was no fluid escaping through the connector, but I replaced it with the newly designed one.

So now what?

thank you for the link, however it really doesnt say anything. The conductor plate houses the Speed Sensor and was replaced as listed in tmy post.

Is there something else I should be seeing in that link?

I possible short. Check all wires you were dealing with and around.
