Retail is about $250. If you have a history with the dealership, you might be able to get it for $200 or so. Unless you want to replace (and thus deactivate) a lost key, don't go to the service advisor - go to the parts counter. All you need is proof of ownership (i.e. tag receipt) and your ID showing you are the legal owner. It should take maybe 10 minutes to do the paperwork, and the delivered key is ready to work "out of the box" with no programming necessary.

I need to purchase a replacement key for my Mercedes Benz 2005 CLK 500. The dealer of course, is going to charge me waaaaay too much. What site online do you recommend? I know I will have to have the dealer program it though

Sorry, those Chinese key programmers aren't going to work in this case. They are designed to "clone" an existing key to a new chrome style key. Once the new clone key is used, the old key will become useless. And the ironic thing is that it's more expensive to buy their kit than one replacement key from the dealer. Just go to the parts counter with your proof of ownership and ID and get them to order a new key. It works right our of the box - no programming needed.
