Like it says in the first post, removed for weight reduction. The rear seats used to be removed too (so no need for the rear a/c vents) and the car previously had fixed racing seats (recaros) a la black series.

Remember your sacrifice The NSX has taught me that weight reduction transforms everything that's important-- braking, cornering, acceleration, etc. I wouldn't give up my a/c or stereo, but I never even notice the armrest missing. Makes the cabin feel more open anyways

I don't have one yet, I will have to get a pic of it from below as the trunk floor has a thin layer of fabric fully adhered to it and looks pretty stock except that you can't lift it up.

So I am thinking I will paint my calipers after seeing this:

http://www.vossenwheels.com/CarGalle...VSCV3-684.aspx

Should I paint them gold like in the photos or brembo yellow to match my NSX calipers and have twins?

That's a good man Ahmad, yellow is what I ordered.

Also, in doing some research on the technical specs on the CLK63 Black Series, I found out that car weighs about 3900 lbs dry weight!! With fluids it is over 4,000 lbs. I was pretty surprised that it was heavier than a regular CLK but given it's wider track and larger motor, I suppose I shouldn't be. That puts it's power to weight ratio at approximately 7.8 lbs/hp, whereas if my car is indeed 3400 lbs and makes 425 hp, my power to weight ratio is slightly greater at 8.0. I drove around with some "midnight club" buddies the other night (F430, 911 turbo, R8 v10, S5s, Viper, some AMG cars) and put it to the test- none of those 500hp+ cars could pull away at all! It was funny, a clk black series actually drove through the parking lot that night and I thought he was there to join us... but he left. Too bad

You may be right, there is barely any sidewall on these and from some angles it looks "cartooney" (no pun intended). I am using an extra set of SL55 wheels as my spares (to clear BBK) and it is hilarious how the widebody makes those look like donuts:

Well I realized that my power to weight ratio is actually slightly worse than a black series but at least it's very close. And my car is still much lighter (changes directions quickly and gets better MPG for daily use). Anyhow, I got that picture under the trunk for whoever asked so see below. I also pulled off my wheels and checked the sizes- 20x9.5" front and 20x11" rear! I took a pic of the rear wheel removed in case anyone wanted to see how wide it is. And I got my KW V2s delivered and will hopefully install those soon.

I did not get actual weights, but I already know from tirerack published data that the front tires are 26lbs each and the rear tires are 31lbs each. Also, WSTO has a wheel weight database that lists a 20x9 P40 at 24.6 lbs and a 20x10.5 at 26 lbs. http://mechdb.com/index.php/HRE_P40

I would add one pound to that for my additional 1/2" width just to be safe.

Front combo: 51.6 lbs each
Rear combo: 58.0 lbs each

They ain't the magnesium wheels I have for the NSX (which are ~40 lbs with tires!) but for wheels this size, they are pretty light indeed.

Small Changes

Changed out the Bilsteins for KW coilovers and traded the HRE centercaps for OEM silver star caps.
