Tinted headlights/fogs/taillights + Laser Shield VEIL
This stuff comes highly rec from my rad/laser det buddies...... plus you get the tinted look on your lights.

I ordered it, and will try it. You can control how dark by how much/layers you apply.
I wanted to do the tinted lights, and the laser absorbsion is another bonus, also got the laser shields for the lic plates too.
After starting to read about the hot spots for laser on the front end.... our CLK's have alot of shiney laser hot spots... headlights, and fog lights, and lic plate too much to work with.
All of this buys a few more seconds to slow down in case you forget about your speed.
I WAS going to install a laser shifter device.... but they just made the illegal in Texas..... many are installing them with a kill switch.... so if you get hit it shifts the signal back giving you time to slow down....... here's the trick..... if you keep the shifter on too long the officer knows you have a shifter....... so what is rec... slow down to PSL... then kill the shifter.... which allows the LEO to pick up your legal speed....... some guys are really into this with scanners, etc.....
That is too much work for me..... and not legal so it's out for me.
