Hey everyone, ive been registered for a while but never used the forum before now. i recently got a 07 clk550 with 102,000 kms for $28k from a mb dealer in Calgary, Canada. Everywhere I drive this car people tell me how amazing it sounds and i haven't done any performance modifications on it yet but ive been looking for good, but inexpensive (<$1000) ways to make it more throaty but i really would prefer to not have the CEL come on. any tips?

Hope u enjoy the video!

Welcome to the forum, sounds like you got a great deal on hat ride of yours. There are a whole lot of exhaust threads on this board with great info. I have a Magnaflow system on my car and it's very. very deep and throaty. Here is a link to my thread with pics and part numbers;

Good luck and hope to see you around with some pics

Welcome! I just got my clk55 shipped from Lone Star Mercedes.

A quick, cheap and easy mod to make it more throaty is to take out the resonator. Should cost under $150 depending on the place. No CEL since there aren't any O2 sensors there.

Kev's got a badass exhaust if you want something more.
