I'm fairly sure you can - if we didn't have 10" of fresh snow I'd go out and check. Did you try the menu where you can make her speak in a different language?

NO LONGER ACTIVE
When the fraulein speaks, just adjust the volume while she's talking and that's the volume setting she will then default to. I think that's just brilliant engineering. Every other NAV system I've used requires drilling through some menus to get to the guidance voice volume.
