HELP!! Will these wheels fit on my new CLK???

Brabus Monoblock VI 19" x 8.5" in front and 19"x9.5" in back. Offset is 45 mm, Bolt Pattern: 5-112 Tires 245/40/19 in front, and 265/30/19 in the rear.

I was told that rims from a 2002 CLK ( W208 ) will not fit a 2003 CLK ( W209 ) because the bolts for the ( W209 ) have a wider diameter. Is this true? Are there spacers designed to fix this problem?

I doubt those wheels are taken from a W208, the offsets are way off for that car!! It sounds more like W220 or W210 wheels.

The wheels will not fit the W209. In order to make them fit, you have to get 10mm & 16mm hubcentric adapters from Brabus. Also, 245 tires shouldnt fit on a W208 in the front!! The max size should be 235/35/19. I think both the W208 and W209 use the same bolts.

thanks for your reply Harris,

Are the hubcentric adapters a safe route to go? What is the correct offset for a W209 19 inch wheel? Do you know if a W208 wheel will fit a W209 car?

I live in the same city as you, perhaps you can give me a call tomorrow. When you buy a set of wheels from Brabus, they will provide the hubcentric adaptors based on the model of your car. If the wheels are taken from the W208, then it should have a 10mm adapter in the front and a 15mm adapter in the rear. Yes, W208 wheels should fit a W209.
