xenon low beam error

i had my halogens swapped out with xenon lights 6 months ago and i recently started getting "right low beam" error signals on my dash. when the car is on, the light flickers, but the moment i shut off the engine it turns back on without any issues.

any ideas what the problem might be? thanks for the help in advance...

I drive the racism out of BadDebt. ;)
Check ballast and ignitors...they sh*t the bed sometimes when they get old.

i will check that. would you happen to know if the ballast and ignitor also has something to do with how the output of the light is?
