320 or 500 cab?
We haven't had a V8 in the family since my 400 SEL in '93.
Right now we have a E320 and ML320. The ML is definately underpowered, the E is alirght, but feels a bit slower than my '98 E.
The Cab is going to be a summer car, staying in the garage during late fall, winter and early spring.
How much more is a 500 than a 320 cab?
What do current owners think. My wife will be driving it most of the time (it's her car) but I suspect I'll be driving it a bit too.
Also on the Nav, any word whehter or not it will be DVD based any time during the 04 MY? I could delay my build a bit longer to say March or April if that would get me DVD nav.
Lastly, will the new 7G tranny be in the CLK 500?
Thanks
Here are the pluses for the 500 cabriolet - somewhat quicker freeway entry acceleration, one inch larger tires, AMG appearence package included, two tone interiors available as extra cost options.
REasons to wait until middle of model year - for the 320 you might get a 350 and for the 500 you might get a 7 speed transmission. Forget seeing DVD nav added until 2005 model at the earliest. And if you are going to garage it for the winter anyway then that can also be factored in.
Reasons not to wait - Won't have the latest and greatest the soonest. With the falling dollar prices could increase.
Any suggestions or recomendations please?
I will appreciate your feed back. I am sorry i cant be of help to you with your question though.
lots of luck
