discoduck,
Thanks for the inspiring thread. I've the itch to undertake a project like this myself, although I'm torn between modding a CLK or a CLS, or just plain buying a CLK Black Series. My W209s are just V6 convertibles and my CLS is an ordinary 550 and not an AMG. It would be nice to get a CLK63 modded or just take over a used Black Series. Kind of hard to justify the cost if it doesn't at least attain some level of minimum performance benchmark, as in materially better than my C4S, which I know a CLK BS is.

Thanks but I've seen tons of pics of it on websites and other 209's, I'm going to order one up when I get back to Dubai and see how it looks on the car. I don't want too much CF so that it looks gawdy, but that grill is pretty clean so it should work.

Honestly I think it'll look better than what you have now. It'll make the front end cleaner and subtle. It'll make it more aggressive.

Thanks discoduck,
It sounds like heresy, but if I want a Black Series, I would have to contact these guys here to install back seats. My wife vehemently objects to two-seaters. She doesn't care what I blow on a car (I earn my paycheck anyway), but hates two seaters. She wouldn't flinch if I wanted a PDK Turbo S or CL65 or whatever but she'll have a cow if I come home with a two seater car. Just the way it is.

Haven't updated this in a while!
Not much done in the last few months..
Got my front windshield tinted with AirBlue tint which reduces heat significantly.

Can't really see a difference but in person you can tell.
Also went into winter mode![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
