Maybe they all start in 4th gear for those 30mph rolls.

Unless I completely missed he has a 150 wet shot installed.

I frequent the drag strip often.

I have seen bolt on IS350's run low 13s. So yes I would believe that more than a CLK550 walking an IS-F. When I was drag racing my W208 CLK55, the modded IS350s were right with me.

I have personally seen an IS-Fs trap 115mph stock.

Are you saying a CLK550 can out trap 115mph?

Would love to see some 1320 ET/MPH for this CLK550.

GT500 was a 2008 GT500 and yes i did beat him

I never said I destroyed all those cars, ISF was half a car to one car behind me

Im not even debating the m3 thing again.

the only one i will agree with you on was that it was a G8 GT not GTP. That was my mistake. I think ive only seen one GT GXP ever. Id run one if i had the chance

Do you have any time slips from drag strip?

If you are pulling on these cars your traps have to be over 110. What all do you have done?

The GT500 is a hard car to drive, especially if the person is not used to it. Hard clutch, etc. So you may have beaten the driver. But give a properly driven GT500, I can't see a lightly modded CLK550 beating it.

A guy a ran into at the strip had a new 08 GT500, when I had my 03 Cobra. We were even in ET's, but he was out trapping me. Both stock. We ran into each other again. Still stock he was running 12.4's@116. Seat time made a world of difference.

Driver completes the car, if he can't drive his car that is his problem that's how i see it.
kbahl21 only claims what cars he raced and beat, he didn't go and ask the driver if he has a certificate of knowing how to drive his car like a pro.
If you ask any driver that's been driving stick for some time the reply will be 99% of the time I AM VERY GOOD AT DRIVING STICK.

I just don't want people to get the wrong impression. a CLK550 is not faster than a GT500. And that is if you can find a stock one one the road.

Until I see some ET's and MPH's from an actual drag strip, these seem like fish stories to me.

im doing a roll racing day on May 19th at the Poconos Raceway. I am planning to go to either ATCO or E-town probably around that time. I would go sooner but i am very busy with work, school, and the photography thing.

lol. I don't get what this vid was supposed to prove.

Looks like the CLK550 gets walked by a "supercharged" SN95 stang. I am assuming it was a GT. Hard to tell in the vid. You know those things run 15's stock? Unless really built a stock GT500 would beat this car. Yet a CLK550 walks a GT500?

To give you an idea, here is a supercharged "edge" mustang by saleen. This car started with 35-45 hp more than a SN95 GT.

I never doubted a CLK550 could beat an E46 M3. My 2001 M3 would trap 105 in good weather. A CLK550 can definitely out do that.

hm it looks like as speeds went on after 115 CLK550 started to pull back in bu the stang braked. Ill find out the specs.

This is the stangs Dyno:
426/420 heat soaked on 93 octane with their DynoCom dyno. Those are SAE numbers!

That CLK was at about 371 WHP and 380WTQ

Gearing, I would bet that stang has 4.10 gears or something like it. But I personally saw the CLK550 getting ripped on.

The GT500 is just in a different league than CLK550. I would bet he raced a 08 Shelby GT. That is believable and I could see a non mustang guy mistake it for one.

417? Granted maybe on the troth end of the spectrum, but not the norm. I just linked you to one that was 481whp stock. Read through the entire thread, there are more numbers. 440-450 seems to be the average. 481whp was the first in that thread.

Dyno numbers aside, no a stock GT500 is not in the CLK550 range.

How many CLK550's have run mid 12's @115+ stock? ZERO. Driver's equal, the CLK550 doesn't stand a chance.

I know a stock GT500 would walk my car hard, why can't you except the fact it would do the same to a 550?
