brakes noise when changing gear

Well, I supose it comes from the brakes. When I change from D or R to N, or vice versa, it sounds like some kind of "tension noise" coming from the brakes, very similar to the noise it makes sometimes when braking and starting at very low speeds (when driving on traffic jams, for example). Does it happen to you too?

Do you have the parking brake set? It can make some noise as the car tries to roll when shifting in and out of neutral. It could also be a bad motor (really, transmission) mount.

No need to use the parking brake. Being the gearbox in N with the foot brake set and then changing to R or D, a noise comes from the rear brakes (I supose), and the same changing from R or D to N with the foot brake set.

That's probably not brakes, then. The main disc brakes should be strong enough to hold against the torque of shifting gears without slipping and squealing. My guess is either suspension or motor mounts, or, possibly, the exhaust system (i.e. a loose bracket).
