Ran over a dang plastic bag :-/

I tried to dodge a dam plastic bag in the road and ended up going over it. Got home and looked under the car and the bag was on the pipes. Pulled it off and some plastic was melted on there. My consern is, will it be ok and eventually burn off and not cause any probs ?? Or how can I get the rest off the pipe ??

I'm sure it will just smell some for awhile, and fall off.

Your car will be fine, it happened to me too. I took about 3 weeks to melt away and smell to go away.

They aren't bad cars really, it's just the general disposition of a lot of the drivers/owners that give them a bad name on Internet forum communities.

I love the C Black, a real good contender with the M3, how long has it taken MB to actually contend with it...? Both great companies with different directions and core market targets.

Just as long as it doesn't happen to a first-gen. MINI Cooper, with its low-slung, exposed and unprotected power steering cooling fan! Plastic bags are a constant fear with those cars, and the bad thing is you never really get over dodging them even after you're rid of the car and have moved on...
