Will This Fit?
I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of Style 818's from Powerwheelspro :http://www.powerwheelspro.com/shop/p...roducts_id=419
Only problem is i need 10mm spacers up front to make them fit. The wheels are 8.5 +35 offset, and i'm wondering if the wheel is gonna stick out too much with a 10mm spacer? Has anyone done this or have a CLK with a wheel that's a 8.5 with a +25 offset?
Thanks guys.

Mka77: i'm doing it for fitment, Powerwheelspro doesn't make offsets for us
ET25 looks great, go for it. And no, no pics of the Sonic wheels right now (I'm out of the country as always) but if you look on about page 10 or so of my goodies thread I have a pics of my car when I got the headlight housings done in black - you can see the wheel stance pretty good.
***Edit*** Look on page #11, post #260

Just my2 cents... I would avoid a spacer on the front if at all possible. the clk front hub is pretty tricky. You will have a Hell of a time getting the wheels to balance.
I know Kev said 25 et in the front will work, but I would be very careful on your tire selection as you may run into a rubbing issue. 30 is the right et for sure.
It seems you are trying to save some bucks based on your recent posts... Can't say I blame you, but this is one area where getting it right is absolutely critical.
Poor fitting and unbalanced wheels will drive you crazy every time you get in the car. Take your time, deal with a reputable local wheel and tire shop where you can test fit before you make your decisions.

Good luck... Looking forward to seeing the results!

I have 10MM spacers in both front and rear.
it sticks out a bit but i like that look. (very minuscule)
for front spacers, you are better off getting the H&R spacers. it needs a special one to be mounted. rear spacers, you can use any as long as its hubcentric. but i will say, im lowered on springs and shocks...265 on the rear and i driving and i hit a dip on the freeway or something like that. normal cruising with no problems.

I agree as far as the spacers go up front, for my Mandrus i had to balance the wheels 4 times so they drove good with the H&R Spacers, but now w/o they are pefect. Mine is a +32 and i love the stance. I'm leaning towards the Sonictunning wheels which are the same but have a +30 up front, just becuase i don't wanna deal with the spacers and etc.

BUT on the other hand, a custom made wheel, forged to your liking is the best option if you have the money for it. Then again, I wouldnt have known what offset that I would like to run on my future set up without getting these reps and spacers first. you can really tell what you really like after you've had it. next set of rims going for the hella flush look =)
