Need Advice, Bought MSR045 Rims.. Rear Fits, Front doesn't..
Hey guys,
Hopefully you guys can give me some guidance!
I bought these MSR045 rims (attached photo). They are 18x8 with 225/40ZR18 92W tires. I believe the spokes are 5x100? I don't even know. I just bought them second hand (which I will never do anymore).
I went to the tire shop today to get them installed and the rear fit ok with spacers but the front didn't fit at all. The rims couldn't fit the center hub or cap?
Do you know what I can do to make these rims fit or am I SOL?
Can you also guide me to what my offset is and what type of rims will fit my CLK500? Thanks

Dont worry. Just get shorter lugs and you will be fine. I ran into the same problem. Rears will fit but be careful they could be touching your E-brake. I recommend dont drive with the rears on because im 90% sure that they are touching your E brake.

Can't be 5x100.
OEM - 5x112 with a bore of 66.6. Evidently they are not a hubcentric wheel and possibly fit a variety of cars.
et of 32-35 is a good offset to run up front on an 8.5 wheel.

Some Wheel & Tyre Guidelines
Standard fitment - Center bore or pilot diameter = 66.6mm on all Benz wheels. Lug spacing 5 X 112mm. (Required offset can be spoke design dependent for non standard wheel clearance of front brake calipers)
