Tire Problem?
Car has been fantastic lately and been getting a lot of love. Might even get a new mate like an R6, but who knows!?
Only thing I noticed yesterday that when at a stop and I turn the wheel I can hear the front right tire sounding like it is stretching. Of course the tires make that rubber squeaking sound when turning the wheel but this is different. Inspected tires and they're all good but when turning or just turning the wheel at a stand still it's an audible stretching of the tire sound.
Hard to explain but has anyone had something similar or a clue?

Hmmm...something I may definitely need to look into...I have had my fair share of work on cars, but not on suspension bushings, so we'll see.
Thanks for the tip, but any hints or things to look for?...

Look at the bushings where the control arms (well, technically thrust arms) connect to the suspension frame. If they look cracked or you see shiny edges, like they have been rubbing, then I'd check for play. To do this, you have to disconnect the thrust arms from the hub using proper tools to separate the ball joints. With the thrust arms disconnected from the hub, try twisting them. Anything more than a 1-2 degree twist and you should replace the bushings. If the ball joints feel "jerky" or loose, then replace them (i.e. the entire thrust arm).
