I have to remove the srs computer on my 2006 clk500 . Do I have to remove the entire console or is there a fast way to get at it ? Thanks guys

 

Yes, you must remove the entire lower part (from the ashtray back) of the center console. This also requires removal of the glove compartment and the panel between the glove compartment and the radio. Also, if you replace this module, you will have to use SDS to recode it.
