Shiftknob alternatives

Im just courious what kind of shiftknob options we have.
I dont know if Im sitting alone in that boat but IMO the stock w209 shiftknob is to high and really is in your way while you leave your arm on the armrest.
What I do like is the blackseries shift-thingy or the sls.
Does anyone know if:
A)
there is an aftermarket solution for that?
B)
will the sls knobby and or BS one fit our ordinary w209s?
C)
there is the open shiftplate like in the BS to get for ours?

Thanx

I was looking for shift knobs as well. There are plenty out there for our cars but if you have keyless go like me and need a shift knob with push start button it's going to be difficult to find. I eventually gave up...

Well my friend but thats exactly what you are right now!
Dont you think this wouldnt be a great future reference?
All tastefull shifters aftermarket or not would be listed with pictures like the previous posters did, if you ask me instead of wasting alot of time strolling through threads here where accidentially the theme shifter pops up on site 33, instead all of it, you just have to look in this thread, only exception your bitxxchin and my response to it.

Now lets get back to da shiftuuuhrz lads and gents!!!

Checked the price on the SLS shifter:
********************************************
SLS 2012 Version A197 260 01 40 9E38 in black
A197 260 01 47 9 42 in alpaca grey
276,00 Euros incl. German taxes
********************************************
BS 6.3 shifter
A209 260 70 40
147,00 Euros incl. German taxes
********************************************

excuse me? , are you saying that I'm Bixcxing? what you are trying to do as it turns out now is just creating a list for people in the future to have 1 place to come to if they want to change their gearshifter? great plan but do it like everyone else has done, Go find the information and post up a sticky thread. What my intention was was to help you out because I was under the impression you were looking for something. clearly you are abusing my willingness to help for something you can easily do yourself. Dont call me a ***** and do your research yourself if you want to create that list so badly.

MY $0.02
