You would wipe the floor with them, even with a headstart you will pull on them all the way to 120+. Ive beaten both cars many times in my stock clk 430.

Kinda depends on which flavour of TT your friend has...

I presume you mean in your CLK320? Although the 320 has a quoted similar power output as the TT (albeit about 7bhp less than on the 225), the TT is lighter and IMO has better acceleration. My previous car was a 225TT and I was very pleased with its acceleration. A lot comes down to how good the driver is but my money would be on the TT. If it was on a wet surface there'd be no contest - the TT should easily pull ahead and feel more surefooted.

[Can't speak for the beamer... never had one].

Be careful out there

It really depends on how long the race. Mostly likely the 320 is going to behind both cars unless your friends miss shift.

I think you will lose to the TT and beat the 330 (or at least nose to nose) from 0-60. The TT has better grip becuase of Quattro and the car is lighter. BMWs are never meant to be 0-60 cars (except Ms). You will start to pull away from the TT. The 330, nose to nose all the way.

You'd better not.....
Correct me CLK320 need shift to 3rd gear when doing 0~60
while Bimmer only takes 2 , that's 0.5" at least

None of C320 members here has ever beat BMW330
You're even a little more weight than C320.

Story will be totally different in a CLK500

I didn’t thought that my 320 could be beaten by a TT and a 330.I just have to crash the car in the first wall I see.

Alexyu can you beat them with the S/C in you car???

momba,

Of course, if I can't beat them with my current setup, what's the point for me to spend the money.

If we only look at the stock setting, to be frankly, I really don't think that CLK 320 could beat these two cars....

A bucket on wheels
i have to agree with everyone here...the TT is real fast you could easily take the 180hp version but the 225 is really really fast...i have both a 2003 clk320 and a 2002 c230komp and i gotta tell you that my c coupe feels faster. i used to have a 1999 clk320 and that thing is much faster then my 2003. completely different cars IMO. the 330ci will be a very close...prob all depending on how fast your reaction time is and how good of a driver the 330ci driver is. if you do decide to race them let us now how it goes.
p.s. i think its time you stop in a kleemann or renntech or brabus and get some new engine mods...then go and race your friends...i would love to see their faces when they get burned
