2004 CLK 500 Cabriolet seat belt feeder

I have a 2004 CLK 500 Cabriolet with 31,000 miles. Both of the auto feeder mechanisms for the front seat belts are not working. They sell a replacement mechanism for this. My question is: How difiicult would this be to replace myself (I'm reasonably mechanically inclined)? The dealer wants about $700 to replace each. Any manual that would be a good resource for this project?

Not sure if you need to reset the computer or not, but the actual item is pretty easy. Google "remove W209 rear side panel" or similar and you'll find pics on how to get at it.
