A/C only blows cold when on max
Has anyone experienced this problem? I have an '06 CLK500 Cab. and the a/c only blows cold air when I lower the temp. to "LO". If I bump it up to 60-something, it blows warm air. I'm hoping the problem is only that the freon needs to be recharged. Just bought the car and missed it during the test drive. I guess that's why the sales guy put it on full blast "LO" during my test drive. Work around now is to set it on "LO" and the fan on a lower setting.

Yep, first step is to check the freon level. Low refrigerant can have strange symptoms. Some people report one side blowing hot and the other cold. This actually happened a few weeks back in our C240 - driver's side was blowing warmish, passenger side cool. Adding a little freon fixed it.

Had the freon level checked and it's good. I hope It's just a blown fuse or something cheap. The mechanic who did my safety inspection thinks it's a regulator that mixes the air temperature that's getting stuck. Since I do get cold air an MAX, I'll run it this way for a while until my extended warranty kicks in.
