what do you guys make of this pic
Ok, I have to say the author thought that the clk would NOT get the vario roof until the 2009 model, due to the fact of cost and reliability issues...but that mercedes were obviously looking into a 4 seater vario roof convertible - these pics seem to show a 3 series vario roof ...could be photoshoped for all I know but then again who knows could be reality...but tell me what you think

Everything that I have heard is that the vario roof WAS under developement at karmann....this drawing looks plausable but probably is an educated guess at this time (as to mechanics). If they are able to do this economically, (ie keep the Cab cost within 10% of the W208A) it will be quite a feat of engineering.
