yesterday my wife hit a speed bumb causing the roll bar to go up. top wouldn't go down. reset the roll bars top went down now I can't get it to go up? windows come up but top won't.

Deployed headrests can only be properly reset with the top down. If you manually lowered them with with the top up, then you may have damaged the mechanism and thus the top will be locked out of operation.

I got the roll bar reset with top up follow a youtub instruction worked great.
Top stated working ? The only thing different I did was set the parking brake? and reset the stuff in the trunk been working ever since

I am still not sure what could be damaged by lowering the headrest rollbars with the soft top closed, but the owner's manual and SDS documents all warn not to do it. However, the only way to lower the top with the headrests deployed would be to remove the rear glass because otherwise, the headrests are in the way. I've looked at the WIS diagrams, and I just don't know what the issue is with this. I can 't imagine it's fear of damaging the headliner, because that is a fairly benign problem and there would just be a casual warning. Anyhow, I'm glad you go it going again, and hopefully this didn't damage the rollbars so that they won't deploy when needed.
