Yo Momma
Kenny, louie and I we both did not have factory xenons. Here is the thing:
People who upgrade from halogens to factory xenons, they run into the flickering headlights problem. Why? because xenons need more power than halogens and in order for the car to do that, you have to tell the computer that the xenons are present in the car so the car gives more voltage to the headlights.
Now since you already have the xenons present coded in your car's computer, you do not need to worry about enough current going or not. Even if you got your car to code xenons not present, it wouldnt matter, because these aftermarket xenons require the same current as halogens.
Now it could be two things, either these headlights are not good, meaning a bad set OR those pins are not making contact. I can not think of another reason.

Zeek I havn't tried to pull (elongate) the pins. I'll try that now. I thought you meant to make sure they are straight. I misunderstood.
Also I might have a bad unit, I have yet to touch the second unit.
Also zeek, attempting to send private message now lol.

I think going to Zeek's cousin's shop is a good idea for you. I hardly considered installing myself and after watching a pro do it, I'm glad I didn't. I had a connector pin come loose, and it took close to an hour to get it back in.
Even in this pic from Simon's eBay listing the 5 pins don't exactly look "OEM-straight."
I believe midnight AMG got these for his CLK550:
Also, what Clkboi suggests is a no-brainer: try the left, and, if it works, swap them to rule out a bad headlamp or problem with your wiring/fuse. There's a lot of info in the original 20 page group buy thread HERE too.

hi everyone!
I am about to purchase the BLACK quad version of this. just wanted to make sure these will work.. i have a clk 550 2009 with the factory OEM bi xenon
here was simon's response...
The headlight's size and shape will fit the bi-xenon model, and according to one of our previous customers, the main connector will plug right in too and function fine, but from factory, it has total of 3 wires from the car on each side, only one is plugged, the other two is left un-plugged since the other two are for the auto-leveling which the quad headlight does not have such feature, so if you are ok with that, it will work according to that customer with bi-xenon from factory too.
has anyone with FACTORY bixenon installed these yet (minus the auto leveling feature) gotten these to work?

Update: Zeek's cousins shop got the lights to work perfectly. I can confirm that going from bi-xenons to these aftermarket quads, that they will indeed work great. Just know what your doing. No coding necessary.

Thanks! lol
And the issue was probably with the connector pins. One of the lights are still not working but we found out that it was a faulty ballast.
I changed out the parking lights but not the high beam. What did you guys do with the high beam? Install another HID ballast and bulb or just change it to a white halogen?
