Thats an awesome thread! I went though all of the pages a little while back but it seems like there are a few new pages since I went through it. I'll have to check them out.
Also, I read a bunch of threads on tinting your tail lights but most go off onto using night shade to paint them and I never really saw a straight answer on what was the best tint film and thats what I really want to use. I see a bunch of them on eBay but has anybody actually used a tint film to tint their tails, corners, and turn signal lights? If so, what brand would you suggest? Is there anything I need to look for when buy a tail light tint film? Like I said I know most of you use night shade but I want to be able to take it off simply if I choose too.

Thanks for the reply's! Lamin x looks like they have some really good stuff.. Newjd2 how has your tint held up because I think I'm going to order a sheet or two. It seems as if you can't beat it

I wanted to give you guys an update.
I ordered the tint so in the next week or two i should be able to tint the
Clear Part In The tails
Corner Lights
Mirror Turn Signal
Im also thinking about ordering these leds to replace all lights to led's... let me know if you guys think I will have any issuse or maybe questions I should ask the seller.

Would 6000k or 7000k match the xenon headlights better?
I also HAVE to buy mats very soon. Do you guys have any suggestions? I would prefer them to be tan... I don't plan on driving it in the snow so they don't have to be too heavy duty... i was looking at these to types... i think the second one might add a nice look to the car but on the other hand those AMG mats are pretty sweet to.

Thanks for the replys! I do think I am going to go with the MTEC for the parking lights because they look bright as hell. How do you know what lights fit from Aznooptics and are they really worth the extra money becasue they seem like they would cost a lot more than the interior pack from eBay? Do any of you have a list to replace all lights to led's? Also have any of you replaced the the tail lights to led's if so where did you get those from?

In the meantime I got all of the tint for my lights and I tinted both turn signals and both corner lights! I installed in yesterday and I was blown away by how good it looks! I also got the vinyl tint at a great price... it was only $18 including shipping for a 12x96 sheet! Here are a few quick pictures I took with my phone... I'll take better pics once I do the tail lights too! i also figured I would post a few good quality shots of the car I took when I first bought it.

It's been a little while because I have been pretty busy and not had a few mins to log on... I do have a few follow up questions about the muffler. I read all of the exhaust threads but I couldn't really figure out what m main options (with part numbers) would be because a lot of the threads were on clk500 which have a very different exhaust system so I'm not sure if they fit the same. I m going between either a cherry bomb or magnaflow. Can somebody please give me a list of the best cherry bomb and magnaflow mufflers that would fit. Thank you for all of your help guys!

What's up guys? Just got done with plasti dipping everything. I ended up matte blacking
-Corner lights (Blacked Out)
-Front Hood Grill
-Rear Badges
-Rear Spoiler
Everything came out perfect except the hood grill/vent... I am going to have to redo that at some point during the winter while its garaged. Here's a pic I took of the spoiler and badges. I will take more pictures this week with my DSLR after I wash the car. Let me know what you guys think and if you like it or not. Im still on the edge of wether or not I like the spoiler. I love the badges Im just not sure if I would like the way the badges would look without the spoiler. I also just ordered some lamin x tint to re tint the reverse lights. I got an email from them about a cyber monday deal (20% off + Free Shipping) so I figured what the hell why not. Last time I ordered 20% from eBay and I thought it looked way to dark. So this time around I ordered the lightest shade they offer called "tint" so I think that might pull the spoiler into theme better.
My big concern is that I don't want it to become one of those Mercedes that drives by and stuff is stuck all over it and ghettoed up! Haha So please don't hesitate to tell me if you hate anything I have done to the car or will do because I would rather have your honest opinion than driving around a ghetto benz... I want it to be as tastefully modified as possible.
