Hey guys, new to the forum. Im looking to get into a 2003 clk500. The details are, black, 99k, every option except navigation, staggered amg wheels, amg body kit, aftermarket sound system, black and asking price is 11,500. Im thinking to negotiate on the price based on the 99k service coming up. Im new to mercedes so im wondering howreliable this year clk500 is and what i should check for. Any and all advice will be welcome and appreciated, thanks.

KBB "very good" condition trade-in value is $9940. I'd bargain up from there, maybe meet halfway. The 5.0l M113 V8 engine is great - decent power and very reliable. This one will also have the 722.6 5-speed automatic, which is also very reliable, just make sure to have the fluid and filter changed immediately, and then every 40K miles. While that's not necessarily MBZ's recommendation, it is now the common-sense recommendation. Hello from a new owner of a 2003 CLK500. Beautiful condition with 52,000 miles. So what I am curious about is did you go ahead with your purchase of this model and year and if so how has it been going? Anything I should be aware of looking forward?
