Problem with side mirror

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it standard for the passenger side mirror to tilt Down when the car is placed in reverse. For some reason my car doesn't do it. It's it jus me or you guys experience the same?

NO LONGER ACTIVE
This was a feature that was programmable through the MFD, but I believe ti was "decontented" in either MY2006 or MY2007.

When I asked this about my 2007 E, a guy on that forum said he could re-add the feature somehow. Might be worth at least going thru the motions of setting the back-up position for the mirror and making sure the mirror button is set to passenger side, just in case.

I was puzzled about this too at first, but figured it out after reading the manual. For it to work, the mirror selector has to be on the right (passenger side), not the left (driver's side)... meaning you have to press the button (mirror control selector) that activates control of the left (passenger) side mirror. Hope this helps.

Oh, and you have to set the tilt position you want it to assume when in reverse.
