Wasn't sure where else to put this and did a quick search.. but MB dealerships are offering a coupon used to towards maintenance or repair service. mine was $150 off $300 .. i was thinking about using towards getting my AC serviced, and the stepper motors fixed

Yep, I got the same coupon. It had the VIN of my C240 on it - I guess after they paid to repair the CLK's timing gear, they don't want to see it again!

Yeah, I usually don't go to the dealer, either, but you never know...it might be worthwhile for something like a transmission fluid/filter change. They usually charge around $400 for that. Assuming you have the rights tools (dipstick for the 722.6 or fluid transfer pump for the 722.9) parts are still around $100 for DIY, to get it done for around $250 with parts and labor, I'd use the coupon.
