Brake Question - 4pot in the rear ?

I tried search function but did not have success with this question..... and perhaps it's a brake noob question..... but here goes.....

Since my 04clk55 came with 4pot caliper in the front..... and I plan to upgrade the front to 6 pot.... can I simply transfer the front 4pot from the front to the rear? Or are they different?

If this will not work..... then
It they are interchangable... then

NO LONGER ACTIVE
I am pretty sure they are not interchangeable. Primarily because the rotors are different sizes - the rear has a shorter contact radial depth as it also has the parking brake drum inside of it.
