The C3 will work, but get the C4 as it will be updated (in case later you buyer a newer MBZ

I believe that C3 requires and RS232 serial port to connect, but C4 is wireless, using a USB dongle to communicate, thus giving you a wider range of computer to use it on. Note that the best versions of this are delivered using a virtual environment - you fir up VMWare and the it in turn loads a Windows XP virtual system with SDS/Xentry pre-installed. It;s generally delivered on an external hard drive so you can then us it on almost any Windows PC with enough memory and processing power.
